BRANDING/IDENTITY
THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
For this mock project, I was tasked with selecting a theater exhibition and building a full visual identity around it. I chose The Rocky Horror Picture Show for its edgy celebration of self-expression, rebellion, and queer joy. The design challenge was to translate its iconic, cult-classic status into a cohesive brand experience. I created a suite of deliverables including a social media page and assets, merch design, event tickets, and a kinetic type poster for digital promotion—channeling the spirit of midnight movies, gender fluidity, and unapologetic camp.

BACKYARD BAR & GRILL
For this mock project, I was tasked with reimagining the identity of a restaurant. I chose to refresh a small-town, family-owned neighborhood spot to better reflect its warm, community-first spirit—without losing its rustic charm or dive-bar edge.
I developed a cohesive brand system including a new logo, takeout bag, menu, and exterior signage. Inspired by vintage Americana and 1970s rural signage, this identity system features bold typography, warm colors, and nostalgic textures that capture the legacy of this beloved hole-in-the-wall: welcoming, gritty, and familiar.
MIDWEST LOVE NOTES
Midwest Love Notes is a community-driven project created by Mary Bruno (Bruno Press) and Mike Thienes (Rubisnki Visual) that delivers handwritten postcards to local makers, artists, and business owners across central MN—recognizing their impact and reminding them how essential they are to the fabric of our communities.
The visual identity needed to reflect the heartfelt spirit of the project while honoring the vision of its creators. I was brought on to design the logo and help shape the identity system, drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of letterpress and the legacy of handmade print. The result is a system that feels fun, quirky, and deeply human—created to uplift all the hands who keep building up our communities and keeping them vibrant.
PRINT PARTIES @ BRUNO PRESS
For this project, I worked with Bruno Press to create engaging materials for their Print Parties. Print Parties let groups—like birthday parties, corporate teams, or friends—step into a letterpress shop to learn about the magic of printing on century-old presses.
Our goal was to help potential customers understand the value of the experience and encourage them to embrace it. Many people are hesitant to sign up for letterpress print parties due to a lack of understanding about the craft, its rich tradition, and what exactly the experience entails. To address this, I created a landing page for the website that showcases all the amazing work that has been created by other groups, case studies, testimonials, pricing, and frequently asked questions. I also created a video that demonstrates why print parties would be a valuable experience for any group, as well as a video that walks folks through the entire experience; start to finish. Additionally, I designed three brochures tailored to different “umbrellas” of groups, and a social media carousel to advertise the experience.
Ultimately, the goal was to turn reluctance or curiosity into excitement and action.
